Finding Anchors in the Storm

A few weeks ago, before bed, I asked the kids, on video, what they wanted to do when they grew up.

Lil’ Miss said she wanted to write songs and play guitar.

I have heard her come up with random lyrics before. She has never written any of them down. Which is a shame because she is amazing (I really need to start writing them down too. And recording her singing!).

So a lightbulb went off. I had to wait till payday, but these finally came in!!!!! I obviously had to make one for Mr. Man as well. And I told them as soon as they fill these up…I will make another one.

Guitar lessons: ✔ (first one is this Saturday)
Parenting win: ✔

She is beyond thrilled. Ahhhhhh feels good to have this parenting win.
