Loving Life

Man oh man oh man was it a busy day.

Up at 230am to work 4.5 hrs to make up for the time I had to take off yesterday due to Mr. Man needing an urgent appointment (more on that a different day….preferably when I’m not exhausted….heh. Don’t hold your breath!).

Straight home to grab auntie bug to go Easter basket shopping and a couple other pit stops. Phew, freddies is massive.

Back home, kids are back from a morning with Grandma….commence Easter egg coloring. P.s. love love love the way we did it this year. Epic parent win!

Hop in the car, go get the last minute baby items for the baby shower. Fill gas tank. Hit a park for 15 mins exactly. Back home to grab a few things.

Jump back in car, drive for 70 minutes down to Salem for a baby shower for 2 of my sister-in-laws!!!!!

Come back home around 830pm. Put my feet up for the first time in 18 hours.

Today was insane. I am freaking exhausted. While keeping my self awake and my feet moving….I also had to stay 10 steps ahead of Mr. Man. When it is just me and him, I stay ahead of him at a brisk 5 steps. But add Lil’ Miss in to the picture, and I quickly lengthen my stride to 10 steps ahead. Oh, and I am slowly figuring out how to properly de-escalate crises between Thing 1 and Thing 2. But my word…it has taken this parenting game to level 90. I feel like I was at maybe level 8 beforehand.

But moving on. I wouldn’t trade this day for any other day. This is our life. We are non stop go. We figure out a way to get Mr. Man regulated in the real world, constantly. Because we cannot hide at home.

We love our adventures.

We love living way too much.
