Sensory Diet

Gotta get the sensory diet in somehow.

So we improvise to make an obstacle course that will give all of his muscles a work out.

The hope is that he can get his brain and body on a more neutral plane so that when he encounters a situation that is overstimulating, he will not freak…ie run off. Or that he will not seek dangerous ways to get sensory input…i.e ramming his head into my stomach 500 times.

Also, by working his muscles, we have found that his language and communication is a tad better.

Some parks are better than others.

But I am so glad that he is letting me pose him and take a bazillion pictures of him
