1st week back at school went spectacularly well
Our girls went back to school 691 days after the pandemic began in our area.
I procrastinated re-registering them and I may or may not be waiting for the other shoe to drop. But dammit – 1 week in and the smiles are just beginning.
After 690 days – they went back to school and this anxiety is not new
Parenting in 2022 sucks. It’s been 690 days since the last time my girls were in school. It was hard then. This is going to be a different kind of hard.

I almost murdered someone this morning
It is no longer if – but when – they come to call me a child abuser for letting my kid live her truth.

Thankfully..it was just a dream.
How one kid got locked in the car while the other got her 2nd Covid Shot
2 kids got in the car with all of their necessary accessories.
1 kid was going for her 2nd Covid shot and both were going for their flu shots.
E, the 9yr old, woke up with a raging bloody nose.
That should have been red flag #1. This day was going to be…interesting.
