After 23 years of being a hobbyist photographer, I am finally sharing my art, my vision, my work with the world. My very first show has finally arrived and because I am a writer, this is the FULL version of my artist statement & bio that’s posted at my show.

Lewis River Trail #31: THE 16miler Log. Buckle Up.

As part of earning an adult scout badge, and as part of my own personal journey, I backpacked 16 – 18 miles with amazing company, with beautiful views, and the biggest lesson I learned, is to always make sure you have at least 2 extra socks before your trip. Oh, and I learned that I can do anything I put my mind too. I went in to the forest one version of me, and left with a whole new appreciation of, well, everything. Even the history behind how Lewis River Trail, became Lewis River Trail.
